2. Do your placement stitch

Place your fabric on top, I
recommend using at least 3 layers. They
can all be the same fabric or you can do an accent fabric underneath like
pictured.

Do your tack down stitch

Then stitch your decorative
stitch (which is usually a thicker strait triple bean stitch) I forgot a picture of this step but the
picture would be the same as above, lol.
6.
Take the item off of the machine and use your
scissors to trim around the design leaving a fabric border.
7.
Next you can use either your
fingernails or I use the back of my tweezers to gently fray the edge a little.
8.
Your appliqué is done! It will fray more with wear/use. I just LOVE the look of raggy designs!
